Author’s supervision of statics

• The author’s supervision usually refers to the activity of the author of the construction documentation for the issue of a building permit. documentation for the execution of the construction or, more generally, the documentation of the comprehensive solution of the project, which verifies the compliance of the executed construction with this documentation during construction
• Ascertained deficiencies and a proposal for a method and procedure for their removal are usually subject to entry in the construction log
• The scope of author’s supervision extends to the stage of project preparation (elaboration of project documentation) and relates both to the stage of project implementation and to the stage of testing and certificates
• Author supervision is performed on the basis of a contract with the builder usually by the person who prepared the relevant part of the project documentation
• On significant, technically and architecturally complicated constructions, author supervision is usually permanent, on other constructions occasional, as required
